Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta admitted two crucial mistakes led to his side’s 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth.

“It’s very difficult to win in the Premier League with 10 players playing 60-70 minutes. It’s just an accident that happens. We’ve had it in three games and that’s why we lost this game.”

“Of course we had a big moment at 0-0 when we had a chance to take the lead with a one-on-one duel with the goalkeeper. We didn’t score, we have to blame ourselves.”

“Football is a game that involves mistakes. We made two big mistakes tonight, which unfortunately cost us the victory.”

“We had big chances and moments in the game to score and get a different result, but then we conceded. We’re tried to play the game according to the rules. Three red cards are different and three very different results.”

“The team tried their best. The effort ยูฟ่าเบท with 10 men was great, but today it wasn’t enough to win. It took us a while to understand what we had to do in the first 15 minutes, then we got into the game, but after 30 minutes the game changed.” Arteta said.

Asked if Arsenal could have performed better having lost Saliba, Arteta added: “I don’t know what more we can do. When you play away from home in this league, what we’ve done with 10 is quite remarkable.”
